Amy was
born in Poughkeepsie, New York on April 18, 1979 and
moved to Rhode Island in 1982, where she has resided
ever since. After attending Providence College and
receiving her B.A. in 2001, Amy enrolled in Roger
Williams University School of Law, where she received
her J.D in 2003.
Amy was admitted to the Rhode Island Bar in 2004 and the United States Court for the District of Rhode Island in 2005. From the time of her admission to the Rhode Island Bar, Amy practiced law with Inman Tourgee & Williamson, which is located in the Town of Coventry. In 2009, she decided to go out on her own and open the Law Office of Amy E. Minchillo.
Since her admission to the Rhode Island Bar in 2004, Amy has practiced in many areas of the law, but she currently concentrates her practice in Consumer Bankruptcy proceedings, Landlord/Tenant matters, Collection matters and Small Business matters. Amy is a member of the Rhode Island Bar Association and the American Bar Association.
Amy, her husband Jason and their children Chase and Lucy, have made their home in the Town of Hopkinton since 2006.
